iii) Provide Compassionate, Inclusive Care

Serve all people regardless of church affiliation, tribe, age, or ability to pay. Uphold dignity and safety for women, children, elderly, and people with disabilities, demonstrating Christ’s method: “mingle, sympathize, minister to needs, win confidence, bid them follow.”

iv) Integrate Health with Gospel Mission

Operate as the medical right arm of evangelism. Physical healing opens doors for spiritual healing. Coordinate with VOP teachers, literature evangelists, and church planters to offer holistic ministry to body, mind, and soul.

i) Deliver Accessible Primary Healthcare Services

Provide frontline medical services to Homu and surrounding remote villages, including: wound care and first aid, treatment of malaria, respiratory and diarrheal illnesses, antenatal and postnatal care, child immunization, and basic outpatient services for families unable to reach Goroka or district hospitals.

ii) Champion Preventative & Lifestyle Health

Actively teach the SDA “NEWSTART” health principles; Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest, Trust in God — through community health talks, school programs, and home visits. Focus on hygiene, sanitation, nutrition from local gardens, and substance abuse prevention to reduce preventable disease.
